Hey Guys,
Got couple of great threads here. So sharing something cool. Few may know, but I am sure many would find this method helpful. Prepared this for my site, so posting some of the images here.
This method will give you hands down the maximum number of keywords for any root phrase, their search volume and CPC.
What you need
You just need one extension on Chrome. It is quite famous now a days with many marketers using it. But I use it very differently for my keyword research.
Install the extension for chrome. It is available for Firefox, but you need to check out the below method with Firefox yourself. Never tried, so limiting the below example to Chrome only.
If you have installed Keyword everywhere (KE) extension, you should see 2 such buttons at the right bottom corner of your browser while on Google search page.
Keyword Research
Go to keywordshitter.com
For the example sake, I am taking an extremely local term. Point is - if such local term can generate sizeable number of keywords, then any other broader keyword can do much better.
Using search term- Chicago plumber and start generating.
Now see the magic. Keywordshitter scrapes the best, but see what happens below. KE is collecting the search volume and CPC parallelly.
STOP the button when you wish to. It can really go on and on.
When done, click on the EXPORT CSV button of KE at right bottom corner.
Then download the CSV and sort as you like. You will see like this.
I usually start filtering from that list and make another 3 column selection at the right side or in another tab. If you do another set of grouping among the keywords, then use a VLOOK UP to fetch the volume and CPC data from the primary 3 columns.
Hope this helps.
