I came across this post that is made by the owner from "Etcy Pod secrets" posted in a other BH Forum on Jan. 25 2019. If his course is based on information from prior to the changes that he is talking about than I am wondering about the quality of that info... Interesting read to say the least...
Etsy fucked me yesterday with a big black mamba (enjoy that graphic image) so now I am going to share a ton of methods almost anyone can do to make a ton of easy money using their platform without even owning a shop.
I had created and managed the largest teams on Etsy for the last few years, they just made changes for the first time to their community pages like the forums and teams and in the process removed 6,000 teams. All of mine included :(
They collectively had 170,000 members across them. Seems they removed all the promotion and networking teams. I had two teams that had 50,000 members each and over a dozen others ranging from 3k - 10k each.
I always said if they ever did anything like this it would be a blessing in disguise. There are several methods I could never do because I did not want to jeopardize my legitimate assets on Etsy, well they just took them away so now they are big time fucked and will probably make me more money in the process
I will be sharing several methods in the coming weeks about Etsy and how to bank hard, I dont care about saving these methods for myself as our POD, Poshmark and AirBnb stuff is taking off so I won't have time for them anyway. If I can bank a few grand a month from them part-time and others use them too then that's fine by me. I may share them in the VIP section though so as to not saturate it too bad too fast and give some VIP's a chance to earn from it and ultimately give back to those who support the forum. This method was directly tied to my Fiverr methods so this is how I have been earning so much with Fiverr which I know I a lot of people have been curious about.
All I can say is I'm really glad I started to milk this before they did this change. Etsy teams have been the exact same way for over 6 years. I made my largest ones about 6 years ago and have been using them to make a lot of my IM income ever since. But now I can do so many other things in high volumes that I was afraid to do before.
I would send one message out to my biggest teams which would result in about $1k orders on Fiverr and about $2k+ in aff commissions in a single day every time I did it and I had 21 teams in total. They were insanely easy to grow. There was a daily limit on inviting people to teams. As a leader or captain of a team you could invite 100 people to it every day.. So I scraped 1.22 million usernames (usernames are at the end of each persons profile url) I had an old list of 500k users I scraped with an imacro but recently scraped 1.22 million users and have been inviting them to 15 of my teams with 5 accounts for the last few months. I was able to invite 7500 people every day. I have been doing this for the last few months and banking really really hard because I had threads pinned to the top of the teams linking directly to Fiverr gigs. some of which were mine to increase the profits. I also linked to several other apps and products for Etsy sellers and pinned these threads to the top as well to earn aff commissions. Many of which are residual from ongoing subscriptions and will continue to pay me going forward but it would have been nice to build them all up as well.
There are tons of methods I have been dying to do but did not want to jeopardize the legit things I had going on. The fact that I could create a thread that would then be sent as an email to peoples personal email addresses was insane. If you captained a team you could tick a box saying something along the lines of "send this thread as a message to whole team" this would generate an email from Etsy to that person titled "important message from Etsy" with the contents of the new thread you started in the team. The open rate was insane too. Well it seems Etsy got their shit together a little over the last two weeks and have changed a bunch of things and added lots of limits that did not exist before.
I'm going to pull out the big guns now and share them in the coming weeks in different method threads. All for free, again I dont want anyone thinking I am going to try and profit from this or launch some S***** guide for a few bucks. I just want to share valuable info that people can use on Etsy and use to inspire them on how to make money on similar sites as well. So a big love you to all the nay sayers and people who will bitch about sharing methods and it ruining them, I respect your opinions but love you all the same :) And I beg to differ anyway. One method shared is 10 created by other people who will twist it and use it on similar sites to make their own.
If anyone is familiar with the 90's movie "hackers" Etsy is about to experience a shit storm like in the end of that move. Instead this time it's going to be Internet Marketeers who are about to descend on their site lol.
