Hi all.
I came across a screen capture tool that I had never heard of called Loom. I did a search and did not see it shared anywhere on the forum - hopefully I didn't overlook it somewhere.
Anyhoo... totally free and NO LIMITS on the recording. You can do screen recording or record yourself plus your screen, etc. Easy sign up through email or one-click sign up with gmail or slack. It's a chrome extension (so instantly usable) with a desktop app in the works.
Now, here's why I really like this one - it's not a resource hog. You can also quickly record informational videos that can't be downloaded any other way (hint hint!). A "teacher" had several videos up that I wanted to download and tuck away in my files, but I couldn't find a way to save them. Signed up for Loom and had them recorded, saved, archived and downloaded in the time it took for the original videos to play - zippy quick. Equivalent videos on YouTube would have been over 50mb ea and my geriatric computer would have been wheezing with the effort. These videos were under 15mb each and my computer rolled merrily along.
