I'm getting 8-10 malware pages every time with Zippy now. Some of them won't close - I have to do a Control + Alt + Delete of the whole browser. Zippy didn't used to be that way.

I am just now finishing preparations to post a large share of Alinka's stuff when I checked the forum for similar shares. So I found that link to post here.

@chijo and fugu: As for the zippyshare issues, I've had the same experience until I installed a particular ad blocker. It works like magic to stop zippyshare's antics in their track! Someone here told me about the free adblocker uBlock Origin. I installed it and have been able to download from zippyshare problem-free ever since.

Do a search for uBlock Origin download to find the link. I believe that will solve your problems.

Someone else may be able to recommend another solution that works best for them.
