@StillStanding: Yes, how 'bout those Rams?! Playing just well enough to win is good enough. You know what they say: A win is a win. It doesn't matter if it was by a single point as the closing seconds counted down at the end of the game or by a 50-point margin. In the end, a win is a win.
Well, I don't know that they said all that ... but the main point is: winning is the important thing. The fans are the only ones that care about HOW the team wins.
I still have that nasty bitterness in my mouth from that Saints loss to Dallas last Thursday. It's going to take a little more Emetrol to calm my stomach and get me ready for the Tampa Bay Bucks. Ironically, Tampa Bay was our first regular season loss of 2018 and although the Saints nearly came back in that game (they lost 48-40) it was still an unexpected loss. The Saints and Tampa Bay are NFC South division rivals and by comparison, the Saints are (in recent years) upper echelon vs. the Bucs, who have (for quite a while) been ranked at or near the bottom of the division.
The one thing the Saints and the Bucs have in common is this: both have Super Bowl wins.
