Actually, this is interesting -- and quite clever. And yes of course I'm aware of the low regard in which the course developers are held by many in this Forum.
The heart of the product is awareness that there are 2 businesses out there that are based around Funnels and affiliate marketing. One is Easy 1 Up. The other is Funnel Franchise. (There are others but these are the 2 featured in this course).
Both of these Funnels are very effective in generating income from visitors. This is a claim made by the course creators and of course by the Funnel business owners but also true, in the experience of people I know and trust.They are marketing machines. Pour targeted visitors into the funnel and money will emerge.
So you can in theory make money by joining the Funnel membership, then focusing entirely on sending traffic into the funnel and being paid a share of the money that gets generated.
You get paid a share of what others pay to join the Funnel; plus you earn an affiliate's share of products the newcomers can buy once inside the Funnel.
Entry is Free or low-cost; but of course as soon as someone joins, they are being marketed-to by experts. So if they are somewhat targeted traffic then a reasonable portion of them WILL pay to upgrade membership; and many WILL buy products that generate an affiliate commission.
Part of the training inside the Funnels is naturally, how to send traffic -- paid and free.
The 2 funnels share very different philosophies and are operated by very different people.
But both have "levels."
If you join at the lowest level you don't pay much (or, it's Free) but you only get a small share of the monies associated with people you bring into the Funnel.

I don't know whether this is re-hash or not; I've never encountered these 2 particular Funnel businesses before. Others, sure. Just, not these. And I assume their traffic gen teaching is re-hash. So is 99.9% of all traffic gen instruction, of course.
But it doesn't matter. I disagree with your statement "this is the problem." Their goal is -- I'm assuming -- "Make more money." I think they are probably doing it extremely well. Pure guesswork but I suspect they are probably making more money month after month than 99% of the people on this forum. More than 99% of people in North America, maybe. If re-hashing works -- if indeed as you say it's like clockwork ... then kudos to them.

Am I saying "This is an interesting example in how a couple of marketers keep making presumably good money and perhaps an example we can learn from if our goal is similarly to make money?" Yep.

the issue is the "course" is about promoting their own "business". it is not something informational but more towards opportunity to become their downline. you shouldnt be paying to learn how to join under them. if this is right thing to do, everyone can create their own "opportunity" based product and sell them and make them join then market will be even more full of crap.

Come on guys! This is a blackhat-money making forum. You guys are seeing this in black and white and Tristan is the dog that saw a rainbow. Learn from him. Don't focus on the the hate, non-originality of it...focus on "why/how are these guys making money from it?". If finding an original product/course is your thing and you don't see them anymore, then become an original course/product creator. I am sure that this is not the problem however.
The real problem is we don't know how to get out of our own way and use our creative analysis. The real money-makers leave breadcrumbs in plain site, you just have to slow down your busy day and take notes. These constant rehashers are constantly rehashing because of three reasons: It makes the best financial sense to rehash instead of innovate, not many people notice/have a huge problem with it, and lastly - the FCC isn't knocking on their door.
I too hate their products and would never release things so low quality, but that's just me. What I do like about that system is that they are cleverly recruiting people to do a lot of the heavy lifting for them. If more businesses got their head out of their asses and started an affiliate program for their products/services, then things would be a lot more different for a lot of people.
