One big deal about this is whether or not it is breaking existing addons after the forced upgrade which can easily be avoided...if desired.
Gutenberg everywhere...
For me, maybe I will turn off it and use classic editor for a year!

I also do not familiar with Gutenberg yet, plan to use Classic editor for a few more months ...

Ha! That's probably not a bad idea! I used it some when it first came out, but it's nowhere near ready for mass adoption. WordPress wanted to get it launched before WordCamp this month, so that's why the big push.

While they have ironed out some of the kinks, it should have never launched as the main editor. I've already given up and installed the Classic Editor plugin.

I'm sure they could make great progress on it in a year!
