Usually I pass on a course with 1 1/2 stars. But the rating is from only one person who gives scant reason for such a low rating. So I will give it a go and form my own opinion.

Same here for your words.
I've watched (for curiosity) the first 2 sections of the course. I think the guy who has given 1.5 as a rating is 1. A j**k or 2. He made a mistake. (I doubt it)
It must be frustrating for an instructor to give away his/her course for free at the beginning, and then found out that the first review is so low. I've checked "NO" under the voice "Was this review helpful?".
IMHO the course is not bad at all. It doesn't deserve a 1.5 rating for sure!
