I'm embarrassed to admit I'd been completely unaware of this ad format. I'll definitely be testing it. One thing missing from the training -- can you put text on the image and if so what are the parameters/limitations? I am receiving ads with text in my Gmail so I know SOME are doing it (text on image) but ... why aren't others? And G like FB can be finicky and it does give preferential treatment in certain circumstances.

Call #1 to Giggle support: Nope, no text allowed.
Call #2: Yep, as much text as you want.
Call #3: Yep as much text as you want.

Sigh. So, I'll be going for it with the most effective ad copy and image and with text over the image to help pre-sell a little and seeing if they reject it.

The jury is still out to me on this Mike Paul guy, though. He seems to put out a number of products lately (or at least this is the third one of his I've seen recently) and I can't tell if his stuff is legit or not. I will say I used some of his craigslist strategies and got no results...but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

My gut tells me he's one of those guys that tells you the "whole story"...but not the "whole WHOLE story". As in, he'll show you everything you need to setup an ad campaign and will show you results from actual profitable campaigns he's running...

...but doesn't tell you that he had to run 30 campaigns to get those results.

****I'm NOT saying this is the case with the product in this thread. It's just the vibe I get from the guy.****

My gut tells me he's another of the Luther Landro and Jim Mack ilk.

Maybe I'm wrong, though.
