I'm surprised by the lack of quality for this course. I decided to check the previews before deciding not to pick up the course, and for someone claiming to hold a Master's Degree in Digital Media I'm not really impressed. Personally, I'd be pretty upset if this was my instructor at a university where I paid good money to learn about digital media. The amount of repetition/backtracking and overuse of the words - "uh" - "eh" - "so" - "um" was more than enough to drive me crazy.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. YouTube has better examples for the same content. Yes, I understand this is for Udemy, but there is so much unnecessary fluff added. The instructor even mentioned YouTube as a source for learning new techniques or certain art styles, yet somehow believes that his teaching style is somehow superior. I'll agree to disagree with this point.
The frustrating part for me is the fact that with this course you're looking at spending closer to two hours to learn the following:
how to select something - 9 minutes to use the select tool to make a square and a circle selection.
how to use four basic tools
how to produce an Andy Warhol/PopArt style image
how to find and install brushes - 35 minutes
That is hardly worthy of the term "Mastery" - This course should be about 45-50 minutes total (approximately half of it's actual time), and even then it could be lessened, it just depends on the instructor staying focused.
Udemy has poor quality control on some courses.

Agreed. It's finally starting to become a little upsetting. The quality of a lot of the newer courses just keeps going down, and the majority of the content available can be found for free on YouTube anyways.
Don't get me wrong, there's still a fair amount of quality courses, but they're slowly becoming few and far in-between.
