Seems there are an increasing number of people promoting ReviewLead software, etc. which helps guide people to post positive reviews on a number of review platforms, yet sends negative reviews via email so that they do not get posted on Google, Yelp, etc.
Seems like a good concept and is being promoted as a better way to get web services clients than pushing web design, Facebook ads, SEO, etc., which companies are turning a blind eye to because everyone is inundating them with offers.
The logic would seem to be that the customer is highly interested in reviews, above all else, and once they sign on with you, they will be more likely to utilize the other web services.
I'm still a bit skeptical though and at a hefty cost to sign up for these type of services/software I'm wondering if it's really viable or just another gimmick to make money off people buying into it rather than a successful tool for acquiring new clients.
What are your thoughts?
