Hi Guys.
Tonight I'm giving you something really interesting.
I've trying many different EAs and strategy's, and I found that EA which have been great for me.
I did some backtest too with 99.90% quality.
EA: WayGrow
TF: 1 MIN
Pair: EUR/USD
Minimal balance: Little as 10$, you just need to adjust the MM.
BT
EUR/USD SL5 - 10% Risk - TF 1MIN
EUR/USD SL10 - 10% Risk - TF 1MIN
[Super Agressive] EUR/USD SL10 - 40% Risk - TF 1MIN
It take time to open a order and may be days that will not open any trade. But trust me it work!

I trade currency futures, not Forex, and don't use MT.
But if I'm looking at the summary right there are some problems (and I tried looking at the EA but it's locked for some reason):
1. There is completely insufficient look-back period (only January through July 2018).
2. There are only a total of less than 300 trades to gauge effectiveness (another way of saying #1).
3. Risk:Reward is almost 2:1 -- backwards -- meaning you risk almost $2 to make $1.
Plus another that has nothing to do with the Summary:
4. Be VERY careful about trading Black Box systems (systems that do not disclose the underlying rationale).
I appreciate
fantin sharing . . . and
maybe he/she can share the underlying rules so we can further test or modify the system.
But I can create some system that would have made $TONS in the last 6-months and basically nothing before and nothing after. It's called over-optimization. You take some periodic imbalance in price and create a system . . . only that periodic imbalance is not repeated and as soon as you start live-trading you get loss, loss, LOSS!
I have a friend who blew-out a futures trading account and has since (10-YEARS) been trying to find the Holy Grail before he trades again . . . finding all sorts of price outliers and making systems that I show him won't work . . . and why. He "tweaks" these systems every week and often every day! He's not interested in the normal win-win-win-lose flow of trading. I'll give him a 90% winning system and he "tweaks" it to try and get it to 95% or 98%. That's over-optimization to a fault.
Anyway, this is what the system vendors used to sit around looking for: over-optimized systems with super looking equity growth. The question was: IF your system is such a money-printing machine, why would you sell it for $99? I have systems I wouldn't sell for $100,000!
I'm not accusing
fantin of intentionally over-optimizing. He's not trying to sell us anything. Only sharing. I'm just making some newer traders aware of what happened about 10-15 years ago and why something like this EA is not what you want to pop on your MT and start trading real-money with.

Cheers,
Take the EA.. download some quality tick data - I use tickstory ..
Dont modify the EA in any way.. try it over say 5 year 2010 - 2015 .. which includes that slug of a year 2012..see how it does.
I agree.. i like to know what the system is rather than a black box..
Also.. try it on some of the other majors.. never really happy that something ONLY works on 1 pair.. and nothing else.. i tend to suspect its been optimised just for that pair.. but not in a good way.. just that someone has curve fitted the EA to a single pair to be able to sell it.
As for a 2:1 ratio .. well.. thats fine if its got a 80% win rate... yes.. your losers will be twice as big.. but your win rate will keep it positive over the long period.
I trade an EA that has a neg risk reward.. not as bad a 2:1 mind you.. 76 pip win for a 100 pip loss.. But its win rate is over 68% and so by the end of the year.. is positive.

Cheers,
Thank you sir. You probably understand much more than me about forex. I have no doubt about that. Like I sad the EA does not open a lot of Trades, Its really precise, even more if you trade just EUR/USD.
The logic of the trade opening in waygrow is really simple:
- The range (High - Low in POINTS) of the current candle must be higher than the Filter parameter and
- The current spread (in POINTS) must be lower then Max Spread parameter and
- The current candle is lower or higher than Envelope indicator (or MA channel)
I backtested that since 2003 but I got astronomical positive results just with 10% risk MM(millions) starting from 100$, and I refuse to believe in that results. That's why I'm showing results just from the this year.
Well thats it.. I'm not saying its a holy grail. But something which we can explore.

About the pairs, you can try any pair.
I got top results trying EUR/USD
and good results trying USD/CAD - USD/JPY
About the BT I went a little bit far... almost end of 2016.
2010-2016 | 1MIN TF | EUR/USD | TL 2 | SL 10 | RISK MM 10%
