To make edits to the Sheet, just go to the File menu and click Make a Copy to create your own edit-able version.

Now that you have all your info together from Step 1, we can proceed! (You did take action and collect the info I talked about in Step 1, right?). 

Okay, so now we're going to log in to a site called Cloudflare. They are the ones who provide us with the SSL certificate we need.

Now it's time to update your name server to point to Cloudflare's name servers. This is the key to using Cloudflare's free SSL certificate. So go ahead and get logged in to your domain host! The second video shares a little more info on domain hosts and name server set up!

P.S. Don't forget to make note of your existing name server addresses!

You have waited a day since changing your nameservers, right?

Seriously, don't do this step until it's been a day.

At this point, if you have subdomains or your email is set up with someone like Google Apps for Business or through Microsoft Office 365, then skip ahead and watch those videos now - you can go ahead and make the changes I outline in those videos.

This video is the final step in making your website SSL Secure!

This video is for you if you have (or plan to have) subdomains.

Subdomains are kind of like extensions of your domain name. 

For example, this is a subdomain: members.sslgenesis.com where 'members.' is the subdomain off the core domain of sslgenesis.com

Anyway, you just have to add these manually to Cloudflare and its very easy to do.

Like I mentioned in the checklist video, if you use Google Apps for Business or Microsoft Office 365 (or some other service) for email, then this is an important video!

You need to manually set up your email records in Cloudflare - otherwise, you're email won't work.

Here's the deal, it's a good idea to search for how to set up your email records in Cloudflare's support area. This way you're using the most up to date information! But I show you how to do that and how to add the records in the video below.

But if something is wrong and you can't seem to get your site or email working then here is how to undo all the changes we made.

It takes about a day (or less) for the changes to take effect.
