If I read it correctly, he suggests posting the image of the puzzle to pintrest and get traffic that way. Is this the only way to get traffic? Of course not. But, there's plenty of tweaks you can make.

He recommends saving the puzzle as a PDF. He doesn't mention editing the PDF ( you can use a free tool) and adding a clickable link instead of relying on the user to type out the URL.

Also, you could use his rss trick to monitor any number of trends from Google. It is really a neat little method you can tweak many numbers of ways.
