Would've worked great 5 years ago and I'm always interested to see new cold email approaches but in my experience a lot of local sites - not just restaurants are already set up for this.

this guide is CRAP... almost 95% of restaurant websites already have newsletter form installed
restaurant owners already know and use Mailchimp. it is free for first 2500 subscribers.. its more than enough for them. every restaurant owner knows how to install a simple mailchimp plugin in wordpress
so it costs them $0 to setup themselves... why they pay $297 monthly????
