One of my free mega acc was reduced from 50gb to 15gb after I deleted 40gb of audio books out of it. DId any one have the same issue? How to avoid it in the future?

You can't avoid it if you have a free account. 50 GB capacity is for 1 month only and then they will reduce it to 15 GB after 1 month.
Make a new account with gmail "+" and "dot (.)" trick. You can have many accounts under the same gmail address.

I did not know that. All of my acc are older than one year. This is the 1st time that this happened. Thank you for the info.

it should not be a problem..just make a fake email...and create lots of accounts...
