My Avast blocked the software. Can someone confirm that this software is safe or not? Thanks

I had to grab it back from Norton, it's perfectly safe already installed on
my pc. I'ts a brand new software so anybody with protection is going to have
a hard time.

Looking closely at this, there is a link that says:

And it leads to this page:

Which then says:

Quote:MEGA BOT download
For security reasons, you MUST enter the information below to complete your sale! If you don't enter the correct information here, your license will be deactivated.
IMPORTANT: please enter your real email address. We will send your unlock key to this email.

And - that page says it records your IP address with a threat of legal action.

Is it worth the bother of all that, really, to get some s/w that likely calls home a bunch of times ?!?
