Hi everyone,

I've been hanging around this forum for a while, and have been trying to get into email copywriting freelance for awhile now with no success. Is there a course that you know of, or any resource that shows how to pick a target industry?

I've gone through some courses on how to start consulting, and choose email copywriting as the service to start. But somehow the industry I pick using their guides doesn't respond at all, so it might be that I don't really understand how to pick a target.

Would really appreciate someone points me to the right direction.

It is all about your email list?
how you got that list dictates what you sell or better said ""Email"" to that list?
{bad}Example: you get email addresses of people interested in Cats...
you send emails selling DOG food....only certain % of these people are ALSO interested in DOGs.
now if you send emails selling something totally unrelated?
about line dancing for dentists?
Only a REALLY SMALL percentage are going to be interested at all?!!!
So it all depends on your email list in the first place???
