yes it seems like udemy changed their shopping cart making us jump through
a few more hoops for an upsale. just click through to the checkout and if the coupon is valid it will show 0.00.

I too had a problem checking it out. After clicking the link in here I was taken to the check out page. There it is posted as free so I clicked again and was taken to another check out page with the new price of $11.99. Something is wrong!
