This is a short, but benefits packed, two page PDF explaining the entire process of going from "Is there any way I can sell these wrinkled, cracked, leather chairs to anyone?" to "Man, with what I learned in this little book, the chairs are selling like hotcakes, and even my ill fitting cowboy boots from my days in California are walking out of here on the legs of skateboarders who find them cool!"
Even though, this ebook was written for the direct mail industry, we can adapt it to our own needs here online without losing any of its punch.
Every key aspect of the sales process, I would venture to say for anything, is covered in little capsules of great advice; there are lots of examples used, too.
Just one example, I, for one, often have a lot of trouble distinguishing features from benefits, and making the benefits sound natural. In an excerpt out of this little book, and in 3 short sentences, the author gave me a different slant on how to think about benefits:
"E.G.: a hot tub not only soothes and
relaxes yr muscles. It gives you an
opportunity to talk to yr spouse w/out
interruptions. Hidden benefit: greater
communication with yr spouse and
ultimately a better marriage!"
Get it, study it, apply the information...and sell some junk and wet popcorn to the illiterate crowd on FB!
