Xion Player is a favourite of mine which is used every day.

It plays just about any kind of audio file or playlist, it is very light on resource use, and best of all works right from the system tray so it can be used distraction-free.
(I use the portable version, of course.)

I hope other folks here will enjoy this and get good use out of it just as I do !!
Wow.
Over 50 views and nobody has taken a minute to give their opinion of this or even to shout out a hello ?!?

Well, I just took a look...
Personally, I find VLC to be MY media "Swiss-Army-Knife", but thanks anyway for sharing.
Repped, of course!

Yep - VLC is a good app too.
This one is cool for playing audio files just because it is so unobtrusive so it can stay totally out of the way without even so much as a taskbar entry - just a tray icon which also makes it easy to pause it with just a click.

Thanks for adding a reply here !!
