A mid range laptop may not be able to run 10 scripts in parallel. However, even with 10 scripts, can make at most 0.65*10=6.5 dollars allowing 24x7 for 30 days. A 90W laptop would consume 65 units (90*24*30/1000) of electricity during this time.
Not something to get rich off, but could provide some pocket change! Better way to monetize would be to run it in some game or alongside some video, if one has access to a popular website. If you can average even 100 visitors round the clock who use the services, then earnings per script is 0.65*100=$65 (which may help pay for hosting costs, bandwidth, etc.)
However, not everyone would agree to have their processing power used for mining in the background!
