Each website have a different way of giving airdrop.
Few currency give airdrop on ERC-20 compatible wallet like Myetherwallet where you just need to open a account with them and you can get tokens to that address which can be later on traded in real market while mostly cryptocurrency give tokens in there own currency.
None cryptocurrency will give you BTC or ETH in airdrop since they want to promote there own token or cryptocurrency
