Many problems can happen. We can't see. Examples: bad backlinks, the backdoor to attack in future, ...
Jojothemes, like many others share theme sites: wplocker, dlwordpress...
You never know what they did with code before share to you, but i can sure, most of them not still 'untouched version' although many themes and plugins not need to null for use!

My opinion, find a non nulled, clean Avada and null yourself!!!

The way to null Avada v5.1.x:

Log in to Your PhpMyadmin, and change the wp_ prefix with your db prefix!
