@Eagle of the Star: Sorry, but no, I don't have the product Pot Pie Girl shows at the end of the article. You may want to search this (or another B-H) forum for it.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but I thank you for your kind comments.

@The Saint: You're welcome, Saint. I like the way you spell my name (with 2 As) and I like your name, since my favorite/hometown NFL pro football team (though I haven't been "home" in decades) is the New Orleans Saints.
As for helping out a fellow member, I did try. It's just that I haven't heard anything from Chrissy777 so I'm not even sure she's seen this thread. Oh well, she'll turn up sooner or later. Not all of us is chained to this forum 24 hours a day.

My appologies Layna for mispelling your name. I realise i have done that more than once. Thank you for taking it so sweetly. Have an awesome day.
@WorldWarrior: I agree with you. I still feel that I somehow missed the point of the request. Based on paragraph 3 in post #15, it now seems like this had nothing to do with PLR from a marketing standpoint but more of how to manipulate a URL link to re-sell PLR (which you can't). You've got to change the PLR, create your own site (thus, a new URL from your own hosting server) and then upload the content to sell as your own.

@Chrissy777: Hopefully, someone currently involved with re-selling PLR will pop over here and help address your concerns. In the meantime, I will try to get a discussion started...
First off, you should not be trying to "sell" PLR ... Private Label Rights material comes with a license to re-sell. That means you should/must alter the product somewhat and sell that version as your own.
Imagine If Everyone Tried to Use PLR "As-Is" (...And Many Do)!
There will be a glut of identical products on the market at different price points. This destroys the purpose of using PLR. It can create a lot of dissatisfied customers and make vendors with higher mark-ups look like they're fleecing their customers.
You're supposed to use PLR to build the perceived value of an existing product (ex: you create your own healthy low-carb diet "calculator" and you then find a PLR e-book on the subject of 50 fabulous low-carb recipes you can add-on as a bonus product to enhance sales of your main product).
How to Use PLR
You can also use PLR to jump-start product creation. For example, you want to create a video series on how to do some hobby or other process. You then spot this attractive PLR video series that is right in line with your idea. You then take this bare-bones PLR video series and "make it your own" by re-writing or adding to the video script, adding your own content in between the existing video footage, etc.
Another way to use PLR is to help you to sell an affiliate product. Since there are lots of other people working as affiliates selling the same product, you can use a PLR product ... or a small number of related PLR products ... to create a higher perceived value in the eyes of potential buyers over other affiliates who are selling only the main product.
Nonetheless, in each and every scenario above, you STILL have to change the original PLR product somewhat. So, what can you do? What can't you do with a PLR product? I'll say more about the license in a minute.
You risk looking like an amateur if you simply take a PLR product, turn around and put it up as your own. Unless I am mistaking your post (in which case I apologize), then clarify it for me. I see now that, by your own admission, you are entirely new to this.
Never Be Connected to the Source Product or Website
Secondly, you NEVER want to use (or even modify a version of) the URL of the original product. Using applications like bitly or tinyurl to shorten the original product seller's URL smacks of illegal use of the product and could get you in trouble. That is why you are getting a NOT VALID message because what you're trying to do (although you may not know it) is fraudulent. You want the product you sell to be quite different from the source (PLR) product so that your customers cannot easily identify it with PLR.
Why is that? Well, rightfully or not, private label, master-resell and other resale or 'rights' products have gotten some pretty bad press. There are some very good products that happen to be resale products. You've got to know what to look for and how to use them. But here's the thing ... people who are too trifling to put in the effort to change resale rights products to something new and improved is what gives those products the bad name.
When you asked how to get the URL to sell the product, I assume you mean, how do you put the PLR on a website to sell? Again, you edit/change the original PLR product so it becomes "different" from the original one. Then you set up your OWN website (your own URL) where you sell the product through a download link.
I don't mean to make this sound easy-peasy but it's not that hard either. Fact is, I'm telling you WHAT to do here, not HOW to do it. For the "How To" part, I refer you to a few resources down below that will be a starting point.
So, no. You cannot use the URL link of the original product at all. You design a site to sell one (or all) of your PLR after you have re-created the products. That website URL becomes the one you use to sell your stuff. Of course, you also need to know how to protect your download links from being found by people ... well, ummmm ... people like us (black-hatters). You should learn how to do that as you advance in learning from the little guides I point you to below or from other resources.
How to Modify a PLR Product --- Let Me Count the Ways!
You need to change the product. A bit --- or a lot. Here are some ways you can do that:
*** Give the e-book/video/product a new name (come up with a new title and subtitle)
*** Give the e-book/video/product a new look (re-do the cover art and coloring)
*** Give the e-book/video/product a new format (convert an e-book into a an audio-book or use text-to-voice software to convert the know-how in an e-book into a video lesson)
There are many ways to change a PLR product. Almost as many as there are different content formats.
Put on your "creative mind" hat (i.e., think outside of the box) and you will find ways to use PLR that border on pure genius. Most people get stuck with using only what's there and thus their product is 99.9 percent the same as most other stuff already on the market. You will never make real money like that!
You've got to be different. That takes a little elbow grease, a little more time and a fair amount of creative energy. Think of PLR as a bare-bones foundation. Like the framework for a house. You, then, become the visionary to make this house a home by adding stuff. But instead of adding lush carpeting (or hardwood flooring) and exotic interior design to make the home luxurious, you will be adding design elements like a new cover, converting the format from a simple PDF e-book to a 3-part video series, and beefing up that bad boy with relevant content that will ultimately add real value (by making your target audience WANT ... no, HAVE TO HAVE it).
PLR - A License to Steal!
The very first thing you'd want to do with a PLR product is look at the license that comes with it. That generally tells you what you can and cannot do with it.
The license tells you how you can change it. How you can sell it. Whether or not you can GIVE IT AWAY as a bonus or freebie.
Always --- always --- read the license. The word license may sound a bit intimidating but it's really not scary at all. Just a simple PDF document with a few listings telling you how to properly use the PLR product. And while it's nothing scary, it's very legal.
Learn to Use PLR Properly
Long story short, you need background knowledge or you could end up looking like you don't know what you're doing (at best) or end up in legal entanglements (albeit an extreme case scenario, at worst).
I wanted to point you in the direction of useful materials you can read and learn from right here on this forum. Sadly most of the shares are now very old so the download links are probably long-dead. So, I am providing a quick-start for you to get the knowledge you need.
Now, Chrissy777, what I will ask you kindly to do is to take a deep breath, forget about selling anything for the moment, and do some reading to learn exactly how to properly use PLR.
Take a look at the resources below. Each e-book tells you how to use PLR from an absolutely beginner's level (which I assume you are) all the way to guru status. Take the time to get the knowledge you need and then you will understand how to use PLR.
The links are active. Click each one and you will download an e-book to your computer. Study the Beginner's Guide thoroughly before moving on to the advanced levels. It will hopefully fill in the blanks and guide you in the future.
I am not sure if these e-books will give you the proper education you need so be open to doing more research. If you need guidance, send me a PM and I may be able to help further. I tend to be very, very detailed so if you're looking for a quick-fix, I'm not your girl. Be ready to dig deep and get into it if you need my help.
Again, hopefully, someone on this great forum will step in and fill in the holes I did not cover.

If, by chance, the links go away, PM me and I will send you an AIO (all-in-one) download link you can use. But these links should last, as the products are freely available, so download and read to help strengthen your knowledge of using PLR.
I wish you the best in your PLR adventures. PM me if you feel I can help you in any way.

Wooow Layna, you're so patient and I've always liked your shares .... BBHF is glad to have a member like you ... Max Reps for your effort. Thank you :)
+5 repped Layna. Very helpful post and inspires me to try harder helping people out. My patience has been worn down over years elsewhere but its important to remember how much help i've received to get this far.
No repps for those who quote a huge post. No idea why you do it. You dont need to do it. Stop doing it. Its dumb.
@Lippinzaner: Thank you for liking my share. Thank you, too, for the +5 reps.
I know what you mean regarding your patience running thin trying to help. (Some) people can be so thankless.
I enjoy helping wherever I can because I value the appreciation and kindness of the "few" who routinely come back to say "Thank you, Layna" as well as those who generously rep me (with or without a comment).
I also see the number of views on the threads. Not just mine but so many other highly rated shares. Those people aren't simply viewing; they're downloading.
So these tens of hundreds snatch-and-run like a dinner guest who devours the fine gourmet meal you've placed before them, only to shove away from the dining table afterwards without a word of gratitude but instead issuing forth a gut-clearing belch! Those people are and will continue to be who they are.
As for people who "quote" an entire post, I think it's endearing but fairly frustrating because you have to trudge through scrolling an entire post to get to the next one. And my posts tend to be long-winded because I am so BIG on detail.
The QUOTE feature on the forum is for copying a specific snippet (one or two sentences) from another member that you refer or respond to in your own post.
I kind of agree with you in that it's not necessary but I don't know that I'd call it dumb. The feature is just misused.
I suppose the people who do that are giving a post a thumbs-up. Or it's like they're re-Tweeting a comment they approve of.
Different strokes for different folks.
A few words mean more to me than quoting my post.
And a simple smilie ... like this one () or this one () says a lot more than re-posting what I've already written; plus, it takes up a lot less real estate on the thread.
Yet, I'm not about to tell you how you express your thanks. Do whatever feels right for you. I enjoy getting your feedback, however you choose to express it.
@Everyone: I appreciate all of you! Your feedback serves to keep me sharing what I find with you.
