Not sure if this helps but I found this method somewhere on how to get a pro subscription for one time fee with future updates.
1. Open this link :

2. Click sign in to your google account.
3. After you sign in, open this link :

4. Select the channel you want to upgrade and pay for one time price.
It worked for me. Not sure if it still works. Worth a try.
