There's a lot of these duplicate shares here now.
It would've taken 5 seconds to put "Post2Profit" into the 2 search bars and find that it's been shared already.
But some members are too lazy to do that!

Thousands of marketers posted tons of their content on this platform for many years. Sadly, their income vanished overnight.
Another scenario occurred with Ezine Articles. Google de-indexed millions of their articles and traffic and incomes disappeared.
Currently, this is happening to YouTube. Thousands of people are panicking about YouTube's new monetization policy. Apparently they killed ad revenue for smaller channels and are only going to allow it for the popular big ones.
YouTube is also unfairly killing accounts due to people flagging their videos for no apparent reason.
Can't remember their names but several marketing gurus' YouTube accounts were completely deleted over night.
Hundreds and hundreds of videos....years of hard work and $10k - $30k monthly incomes gone.
Therefore, PLEASE ladies and gentlemen...
Focus on building your own business, email lists and websites.
Never put all of your "eggs" on another person's platform.
I was thinking exactly the same thing when I first heard of steemit ... another ezine and squidoo just waiting to happen. No thanks, been there, done that.
steemit is another of those time-s****** "shiny objects" - and there are many similar sites popping up
Making serious cash on steemit takes considerable time and effort - it is much better spent on your own assets.
However ... steemit can be great for getting your posts indexed exceptionally fast - write a short version of your blog article, post it on steemit with a link to your site - (almost as fast as Google Plus).

I don't know how much effort this will take or how much $$$ you can actually make with it. I do agree that putting all your eggs in any basket you don't own is silly.
That said, if you can use this platform to syphon off traffic to your own site/list/funnel/whatever, and it not take a whole ton of work, then I don't see why you wouldn't.
That or if nothing else, you can use this to make some extra $$$ in your spare time (I know that sounds hype-y), then ride the wave while you can. Use that $$$ to fun other, longer term projects.
I have found the search results on this site can be very temperament.
I made a post about 3 weeks ago searched for it before i made that post and there was no sign of it being shared anywhere on this site, so I went ahead and shared it then a few days later when you did a search for the product that i had shared it showed 2 results and the other post was a day or so older than mine?

I would go so far as to say it is between very odd and 'sometimey' as it gives such different results so often !!
Lots of times I've searched for things here using every search term I could think of - including the parts of titles of existing postings - and its come up empty, then by going through a lot of effort browsing the sections I've been able to find what I sought manually - but sillier still:
Going back and repeating the same exact search a while later then showed what I wanted to begin with !!!
Finally I got my new account approved since I lost access to the old one. I have kind of a plan in mind.
