This book has been written for the individual who has limited to intermediate knowledge regarding disaster preparedness. It is written in a manner so as to not overwhelm them with unnecessary jargon or lengthy, technical descriptions of items. The goal is for this material to be short, concise and easily understood.
Disaster can strike at any time, and can happen anywhere. No one is immune to disasters, though many believe it could never happen to them. In this book, we will not investigate individual types of disasters, unless the topic is specifically warranted. Depending on the severity of the crisis, some or all of the components of your disaster kit discussed herein, may be required.
