I have a website Woo Commerce ( I chose to not have Shopify as feel it potentially can get very expensive with add ons etc) which will sell products that are specific to a customers interest think POD on steroids.

But I am trying to work out if I use say Dogs as the category and Labrador as the subcategory.

Do I use Bracelet as a tag so all bracelets are on one page when searched?
or would I used Bracelet, Rings, Shoes, as categories as well and then use tags to distinguish products.

Not sure if I have explained that right but I don't want to make it confusing for customers as realistically customers who are dog lovers don't want to search through 500 hundred designs to find one.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction or maybe knows of a video or course that explains this stuff.

Hi,

You can create categories like so:

Dogs -> Labrador -> Accessories - Bracelets
Dogs -> Labrador -> Accessories - Rings

And when you upload New Bracelet product you assign it to Labrador -> Accessories -> Bracelets categories.

If your Bracelets suits all kind of dogs, so it's enough with just Accessories -> Bracelets.

Assign your Categories to "Main" shops menu, so clients can easily navigate and find what they are looking.

Also:
Create left side menu.
Product suggestions.

If you are new to WP and Woo, so best way is to find a theme with "WPBakery Page Builder" this will let you be more creative and flexible without programmers.
