"I have used this book for the last 20 years when I do a garden. It almost always has the detail I need for a particular vegetable. Example: My tomato plants look great but I don't have any (or very few) tomatoes? In the "Tomato" section on p.212 "The flowers will not set fruit if the temperature goes below 55 degres F at night." The book covers a wide varity of vetables and herbs well. It is very good on basics. It does have a few weaknesses. No interior color pictures, good black and white drawings however."

Thanks StillStanding. I really enjoy these topics. I was a big fan of the Foxfire books ages ago. Max reps added.
