The answer is maybe. It depends on how new your tv is. you will need to search apps on your tv for this app. Smart Iptv if you can get this you are golden.

Other wise you will need a firetv or roku or appletv

Yes, You can record a show but you are limited to the device you are using. For example: if you are using a firestick they do not come with a ton of extra space. Not recommended. If you use a Nvidia Shield you will have no issues with space.
