Try to bear with me for a minute here as the back-story is not simple...
OK ??

I got a free 50GB mega account 'cuz folks here like that thing, but:
Trying to get anything to download from it is near impossible here - it always gets to like 40-70% then just outright quits on me.

So - over time I've filled the doggone thing right up with importing stuff, then I cannot get the stuff off of it !! NotWorking

If I opened a 2nd one and shared stuff back and forth it'd still quit on me, so that won't help.

I did find a workable solution - sort of - by transferring stuff from mega to GDrive via Multcloud - I was able to get a few of the smaller things as GDrive doesn't drop like mega does here - BUT:
Then mega's dreaded 'transfer quota exceeded' message pops up and it doesn't seem to ever go away after that.

So I've got a bunch of stuff I cannot actually do anything with because its being kept hostage at stupid mega !!!

Has anyone found a work-around that gets past all this stupid mega baloney ??

Thanks very much for any help.

PS:
The problems persist no matter which browser I use and none of the tools for mega that I've tried have made it work here either.
I have the same problem and would like an easy solution.
I wish I could say that I've found a solution - but thus far I haven't.

Next I'll likely try getting all that stuff off of there via a couple of Android apps that claim to work with that nasty site - but frankly I'm not very hopeful that anything can make it work any better.

What I've been doing lately is much simpler:
Upon seeing that any share has ONLY that site as a source - I just move on rather than wasting any time and effort struggling with that rotten site.

I think it is wonderful for folks who have an easy time with it - but here - for whatever reason - it doesn't work well enough to bother with.
NotWorking
Haven't tried Mega recently (I remember it would quit when the download neared 1 GB, but browser would be out of memory far earlier (when accessing files bigger than 300 MB)).

But, their MegaSync app is supposed to help in downloading to local system irrespective of the size of file (Note: this is NOT from personal experience as I wary of 'em since Kimmy exited the company).
