Sounds very interesting. One thing I have realized over the years is that everyone's religion is, indeed, personal to them. They have specific reasons for why they believe (or don't believe) what they do and for most people, their beliefs are actually beliefs. They're not something they can change like they change their clothes and they're not something that most people will change by being "reasoned with" by someone with a different belief system. A very interesting subject, for sure.
