Thanks heymandude!
Not sure if I would have time to write a comprehensive review, but I'll give this course top star rate at least.

Please ..be more patience..
i see that lately your course has less review than usual..but i want to let you know that it's not just your course that get less and less review nowadays..it's happen to all the time...
people get so many coupons that they don't even have a time to start the course...
they enrolled because they need it..but doesn't mean that they'll start the course right away because they are on going courses on they list..
because you want genuine review..we cannot give it if we don't even start the course yet..
hope you keep patience..
and get the reviews soon
Basically what you are saying is that there is no use posting FREE coupons here on BBH anymore. Kind of sad....
Duly noted from next time.
That's not what i mean..
what i mean is..if you want genuine review..at least we have to start and finished the course first...so it takes time..
but i you ask for 5 stars rating ..we can give it right away.. because it's easy..

If you don't want to post coupons here anymore than feel free to delete your account; this isn't a one-way relationship. If you want quality reviews and not a generic "i'll give you a 5-star just because you gave me the course for free" then you need to be patient. There are a lot of people here who just horde courses, because obviously the size of your course collection means something (did you pick up on the sarcasm?) It amazes me that instructors think by giving away any number of coupons less than 100 that they're actually going to get substantial amounts of feedback, and if you believe that, then you're dreaming a little too hard, or your course probably isn't up to par to deserve it.
Based alone on the attitude you've displayed here in this thread it's enough to certainly turn me off from wanting to pick up any of your courses in the future. Hopefully you feel better after your little temper tantrum. Perhaps next time you shouldn't start out with an insult to the community you're posting to, and don't treat us as if we're the only ones who stand to lose something here.

could you please clarify the *TRUE* purpose of why people give/receive courses for free here?
11-22-2017, 12:10 PM
@heymandude
I've already told you once, and I'm only going to tell you one more time. Obviously you know the *TRUE* purpose of sharing courses here, but I'll play your little game this one time and break it down a little easier for you to understand; since my previous comment wasn't enough apparently.
Sharing courses here is a two-way street.
People share coupons here because it's fun to share, and it might be also be helpful for some people to learn new information about existing hobbies, or it could help someone discover a new interest.
Instructors do it to encourage reviews that will help them build credibility, which I hope you've learned by now is essential to a successful launch. Instructors also do it with the hopes of persuading others to seek them out for future purchases. Is there anything else you'd like for me to explain to you, or perhaps a picture would help?
Another part of the equation that you are obviously lacking is your personal brand. Feel free to keep whining about how bad these forums are, and please don't forget to keep up the attitude you're presenting to us. Keep treating us as if we're somehow indebted to you because you've decided to share your course. That's not kindness, and that's certainly not anything I would ever personally do. That's called being selfish. If you share here, you should share because you WANT to. You should also COMMUNICATE with people in the thread and encourage conversations the have the potential to gain interest; not degrade them because they aren't doing what you want.
You can tell a lot about an instructor here just by their attitude. Some come here and ignore the rules by creating duplicate threads, spam their courses all over the place, and they just don't care. People like that remind me of those questionable bums that spit on peoples windshields when they stop at a red light and try to wipe it off, then knock on your window hoping that you'll pay them. That's about the quality I'd expect from instructors who take that approach.
Meanwhile, there are instructors who come here and follow the rules, and communicate respectfully with others, and have an all-around good attitude. THESE are the instructors I absolutely love. Their courses are usually very detailed and helpful, and they're open to having constructive conversations. I haven't encountered an instructor yet with this type of attitude whose course I didn't enjoy. Now for the fun part: Guess which one you are.
To reiterate what you were hoping to hear, the **TRUE** purpose of giving courses for free here is to entice people to leave reviews, but just because something is offered freely doesn't mean you're guaranteed results.

The "TRUE" purpose of why people give/receive course for free HERE is to SHARE..
The other purpose is to be a place for instructors to market their course ...
And if you KNow about marketing..the best marketing is through persuasion..
HOW? by giving free coupon as a free trial..That is the point..IT's FREE TRIAL
What happen is you give a free trial?
Some people would happy with the course and find it helpful..and they would likely to give "GENUINE" review..and hopefully will give 5 stars rating.
Some people would not happy with the course and find it unhelpful...at this point ..Is it better if they give "GENUINE" review which says that the course is bad and give 3 stars rating or is it better they just don't give any review at all because they will feel bad as they get the course for free?
So my POINT is ..is not a TRANSACTIONAL relationship..or give and take as "i give you free coupon so you should give me review"..
You can only hope they give good review and 5 stars rating..but you CANNOT DEMAND it..
by the way..if some one says "PLEASE GIVE ME a NEW COUPON" That's is a request..feel free to ask them a nice review..

I have made 21 courses and I have distributed no less than 5000+ coupons here. And I have received 10-15 reviews that too by personally interacting with the people who were genuinely interested in the content.
Rather than disparage a contributing member of the community - why don't you make the community better and ask people to use a coupon only if they are interested in the content. Rather than hoarding the course for no reason whatsoever - leave it for people who are GENUINELY interested in the content.
Isn't that the true gesture of sharing?
