Some of you all may know me from my $3000 a week emailing thread or my $3000 per month YouTube thread .
One question I get all the time is how do I scrape emails. In this thread I am going to explain how to scrape emails from phpBB forums.
In this thread I will describe how to do it with GSA Email Scraper. I use it because it's the best scraper I have found so far. I purchased my copy but I recently posted a good cracked copy which you can find HERE .
Once you have it open you will need to adjust a setting or two.
Check USE SEARCH ENGINE at the top and in the Keyword(s) box enter this;
Or for a more targeted email list, add a niche keyword at the beginning. For example if I wanted to get emails for forum users who played WoW here is what I would put;
Also check the box under it that says PARSE RESULTS FOR NEW SUBLINKS (ELSE ONLY FOR MAILS)
On the left hand side you will find an OPTIONS box. Click it.
In the PROGRAM BEHAVIOUR tab check all the same stuff as my screenshot below. If you have a slow Internet connection, choose 5 for CONCURRENT CONNECTIONS

Next go to the FILTER tab and at the bottom where it says PARSE FOR ITEMS ONLY IF URL HAS, right click in the box and select ADD. In the ENTER STRING box that appears enter this,
Then click OK
Below that check the box next to APPLY ALSO FOR NEW LINKS
Here is another screenshot of what it should look like;

Lastly go to the SEARCH ENGINES tab, right click and select NONE then scroll down to one of the GOOGLE search engine choices. I use Google International but any of them will work for this. Below is a screenshot of this as well;

Click the FOUND ITEMS tab and click START.
It will start scraping emails in only the memberlist pages for all the phpBB forums it finds. Below is a screenshot of it in action;

That's how to scrape emails from phpBB forums. There are ways to modify it to scrape other types of forum's members lists as well. If anyone figures out some search strings for other types of forums, I'm sure everyone here would appreciate it if you would post it below.
