Layna, Thanks a lot.

It's AWESOME that you updated your link, 5 reps for you.
Hi Layna61524, Thanks for your effort to pm me to say that you reuploaded the links.

Very much appreciated and max reps added

Thanks
cthruu just reported to me via PM that the links I provided are working fine but the actual file was corrupted. In case anyone else is having issues, I just added another Ge.tt link.

I uploaded and then downloaded my own share to test it. Both the PDF and e-pub book opened fine in Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Digital Editions, respectively.

Can someone help me here by reporting which link is giving the corrupt files? I can then go back and remove the offending links from the post to prevent further issues.

Hopefully, this will help everyone who wants this share.

@kedai: Yes, there is now a new link. I am actually relieved to see that you are experiencing the same issue that cthruu reported but still, it always helps me to have more information than just "can you re-up" ... knowing what you did and what results you got would go a long way (and save me some time) in trying to help you.

UPDATE --- August 27, 2018

Just got another PM from cthruu ... the new link gives the same result. So, I have sent a PM to each of the people who downloaded since I shared this; just to see if you're also getting a corrupt file message.

Cthruu is getting this error message:

"File is in unknown format or archive is in damaged condition."

Yet, I am able to download from the Ge.tt link AND open the e-books perfectly. I suggested he or she use another browser to download than what they're using; or if they use Winrar or Winzip to try 7zip. I hope their computer doesn't have a bug.

Can anyone else suggest a solution?

And can any of you I've sent a message to get back to me? I want to remove the links that are causing these issues if others are unable to open the file.

Kedai: I tried to PM you but you have your private messaging turned off.

Thanks

Hi Layna61524,

Very much appreciated and max reps added
Thanks
@cthruu: Thanks, pal. I'm glad that 7zip did the trick and ultimately managed to get the file. Had you told me what you were using to open the archive, I might have suggested trying 7zip a lot sooner. Nonetheless, no worries; I'm happy you got it. And thank you for coming back to post that your issues are solved.

Let's hope that others unable to download will see our back-and-forth comments because I have gotten word back from everyone who downloaded from the original link that there were no problems.

I also replied to your PM so you will see there that I highly recommend you run a system-wide virus check using Malwarebytes. You can download it free for either PC or MAC from here:

https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/

If you like it, buy it. Othewise, you can extend it by deleting it from your system when the trial ends and use another email address (IF one is required to download it) and do it all over again. But I highly recommend it. It runs in the background and alerts you to sneaky pop-ups and pop-unders and unwanted redirects trying to put viruses and other unwanted stuff on your computer. Every day, I run HitMan Pro and Malwarebytes and am always surprised by what is there after an ordinary day of online activity.

It sounds like either your browser is infected or the unzip utility you used is. I recommend you delete your browser from the Control Panel (and all traces) but be sure you have access to another browser to download it again ... or better yet ... a totally different browser. Epic Privacy Browser is good and so is Firefox. It's good to change up browsers or at least reinstall them from time to time.

I wish you the very best!

@kedai: I just tried my Zippy link and it works just fine.

This image shows that when I clicked the DOWNLOAD link, my Internet Download Manager (IDM) opened and captured the download.

This image shows that when I opened the zipped file, it shows both e-pub and PDF e-books in the folder.

I just want to help but it's very frustrating when someone posts "Link doesn't work" and I can't reach them via PM for whatever reason AND they fail to post any update to the situation.
