Really you have excellent observation skills to jump into conclusion
But fact is not that

Today, when I visited Udemy section , I was too surprised to see this thread at the top despite being old, may be due to course got out new coupon. But when I visited course link, it was paid .
Also, there wasnot single comment besides OP post
Therefore I only commented to let other interested members save time to open Paid link , since that thread was lying at top of Udemy section even without my comment few hours ago

You've been here longer than me, but you should know by now that when that happens it's because someone new usually comments but it hasn't been approved yet.

I'd be willing to bet sometime tomorrow or the day after that whoever bumped the thread will show up.

Either way, it always helps to check the dates on threads. I've fallen for it a time or two.
