Well, if you haven't done anything ever in Visual Studio, then you certainly should. But be warned, after that experience, every other IDE will look like Golf 2 compared to Volvo S80 with full package.
Visual Studio is a really good IDE, I agree (have only tried the free variants), but I'm a Vim fan and not really into IDEs! (Even the Vim-style plug-ins for IDEs don't do it for me as I seem to be stuck with a different leader than I'm used to, unless I'm missing a trick). What do I know though, am only an amateur! (ask me in a month though, if I stop spending all day signing up to new freebies on here!!)
