No need to edit hosts file ..do the following.
Go to Network and Sharing Center either from control panel or from desktop internet connection icon.
Open up Change Adapter Settings . Disable your internet connection Wireless or Lan.
Run AU .. It should start immediately, Do Not Update Just Cancel.
Restart / Enable your Internet connection Adapter.
All should work ..
