I downloaded this and did a Virus Total scan (which the OP should have included with the share). Take a look here and see why this is a dangerous file:
https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/cea8e...505674319/
Lots of malware and trojans.
@chill047: This would be a great share but you should have included a Virus Total scan. That way, at least, people would know that this file potentially warrants more scrutiny. Someone who doesn't know any better will simply download and install ... with 11 out of 60 A-V programs reporting something suspicious, there's no telling what this file contains. Particularly when some nefarious and malicious files are now designed to bypass the usual A-V detection methods.
I already know that patch or crack files (which is par for the course with black hat files) will show up as (probably) a false positive in a lot of anti-virus programs; especially highly sensitive ones. I always look at the source of the A-V program then decide whether I should be concerned. Most of the programs detecting a PUP I've never heard of before; the only program I believe is a reputable/brand one on that VT list is Bitdefender. On the other hand, my own A-V program (Avast!) came up clean.
Still, I can't help but being a little concerned.
At the end of the day, it's up to you. If your A-V program did not sound the alarm, you're probably okay because like I said, this is a very attractive, useful share. For that, I will rep the OP. I just wish they had included the virus total scan with the share.
I am in no way accusing the OP of doing this, however, more and more, people simply share stuff they picked up someplace else and it's just too easy these days to screw up someone's computer!
A virus scan should be included with every share ... and I'm seeing first-hand, that's being ignored a lot of the time.
