My answer below:
Click the "Edit" Button, select the "FULL Edit" option, Click the "DELETE" button in your first post of that duplicate thread, then enable the "Delete?" option...Finally press the "DELETE NOW" button on the right side!
If u don't have enough RIGHT to do so, then just change the Thread title to something like "Admin/MODs, pls delete this duplicate thread...My fault" in your first post of that duplicate thread, then leave it to let our MODs to have spare time to delete it themselves..
