Red flag on this one. The book series shown as "evidence", is Encyclopedia Brown, a series of 29 books published between 1963 and 2012. These are read to kids in grade schools. Your chances of duplicating this are slim.
My question is, if this is such a "money maker", why didn't the author use their own books as an example?

In response to your ponderings about why the author of this program didn't use her own book sales as evidence.....I'm thinking she doesn't want to reveal her niche or exactly what she is writing. She doesn't want to be copied which might end up driving down her own sales of her mystery books. I just searched Kindle books on Amazon looking for books by Shawn Hansen. I didn't find any mystery books published under that name.
