Oh wow. That sucks then. But speaking as someone who has done retail arbitrage if you can get a guaranteed 13% discount then that would be good, but like you said there are fees involved with bitcoin which I know little about. The reason 13% discount would be good is because you would have marked up the item at least 10% on top of ebay fees so the buyer would have paid that already and there are ways to get cashback as well, but there's a reason why retail dropshippers use sites like amzon and walmrt. Their reliability.

I think they sell more by people who are curious about their product. I hate these programs that give you a sales pitch and don't tell you what the product is about, only that you better get this before it's gone!

Thank you, Blackhatbill, for the great review... reps added.
While this particular method might not be foolproof, this does get my mind spinning with possibilities...
Seems to me there are 3 factors generating possible Amazon discounts here:
1. People with unused gift cards may be willing to accept a discount to get cash for their Amazon credit. Example: someone with a $100 gift card might be willing to accept $95 to buy a $100 item for you. Especially if a) their card is fraudulent, or b)...
2...You pay in bitcoin so the buyer avoids (or profits from) the bitcoin exchange costs.
3. The item is purchased through an Amazon Associates link, generating a referral commission of 6% - 10%
Put all these together, and I can imagine a discount of 15% or more from the Amazon store price.
I still don't see that as enough to justify arbitrage by posting to eBay, because the eBay/Amazon markets are pretty efficient (lots of people looking for ways to arbitrage between the two), and the transaction costs are going to be around 15% or more.
However, I do think it might make other ecom opportunities even juicier. For example, selling retail through Craigslist. Or pricier sites like Etsy. A lot will depend on the item selected.
Purse.io looks like it is worth experimenting with. It appears to have venture funding, so while it may not be as reliable as Amazon, it doesn't look like it is a scam site. There may just be some golden nuggets waiting to be found in this method.

Very cute, funny AND helpful - Thanks Blackhatbill !!:

What does that mean?
It means we have another course from the master of theory and dreamed up methods, James Renouf.
It was actually comical watching these 2 bumble and fumble through these videos. It seemed as if neither of them really had any idea what they were trying to teach. The videos, some done by Jay, and some done by James, would often times contradict eachother.
