I got all the files 001,002 ...007 but 7zip uncompressed the first one and then it says the remaining files are not right (not recognized as compressed files), I triple check the files and are all right, the first 6 have the same size, not incomplete or corrupted ... what could be wrong?

NOTE: I was meant to say 001 to 006 ...not 007 , there are only 6 files on the sequence.

For anyone having trouble extracting this , I had the same problem and managed to figure it out.

You need to RENAME two of the files:

traf.rar.001.001 ====> traf.rar.001
traf.rar.002.002 ====> traf.rar.002

The rest can be left the same and now HJsplit will work exactly as it should. I really wished someone would have explained this from the beginning because I spent hours trying to figure it out. Winrar will tell you "Unexpected end of archive" or that it's corrupt if you do not combine it properly and if you try to combine it without the renaming, it will still "work", but the resulting archive (rar) will be corrupt. Hope this helps.

This is what I did: I renamed those 2 files (001 and 002), then used HJsplit to join all the sequence 001 to 006, then used winrar to uncompress the new rar.
