Received a review copy! Thanks!
Here's my review:
TL:DR; For only $5, this software is a steal and will save you lots of time. Recommended for anybody using YouTube for marketing.
Pros:
Extremely easy to use. Layout is simple and uncluttered, the stats are laid out in a way that allows you to easily see which keywords you will be able to rank for. You can also organize columns by clicking on the headers. Big time saver for analyzing keyword competition.
Cons: (These won't be a problem for most users, but I just wanted to be as thorough as possible.)
Difficulty analysis is left to the user. The program shows upload date, views, likes, comments, and total number of results. While this is enough for most people, the number of subscribers and authority of the channel which has uploaded the video plays a big part in how easy it is to rank for certain keywords, which this software does not take into account.
For example: the software made it look as though you'd only need 8000 views to rank for the keyword John Cena, when in reality you'd need much more, as the first page was dominated by the official WWE channel.
The second problem is that the software wouldn't recognize if the keyword was in the title or description unless it was an exact match. For example: if you search for "backlinks", and the title of the video has the word "backlink", the software will not recognize that the keyword is (more-or-less), in the title.
Finally: the software only shows the first 20 results, which may not always be a great indicator of difficulty, though should be fine for most use cases.
Overall, I would happily buy this software and would pay anywhere up-to $15 for it if the above issues were rectified. For $5 this software is a bargain and I would highly recommend it to anyone using YouTube for their marketing strategies. Plus - don't forget all the bonuses you'll receive. Worth well over $5!
Thanks again for the review copy.
