Link worked fine for me when I followed the instructions. Not sure why you did it that way. Would be better if you coded your links the right way.
You want to use two commands. Each of them have a start and end version just like in HTML.
So the first one is the word "spoiler" and the second one is "url" you need to put them in brackets "[" and "]".
So you have a starting bracket, the word spoiler, then the closing bracket followed directly by and open bracket, the word url and then a closed bracket. The the real link followed by a brcker then a / then the word url then a closed bracket, then another bracket, a / and the word spoiler and then a close bracket.
Do this right and you end up with something like this:
You are already using the spoiler command as you have the hidden area in your post. So just another step and you can have a real link and clean up the dot to . issue.
