I personally tested it and it works fine.

installed first the version 17.8.8 just as instructed and then uploaded and overwritten with the new version.

I have also installed http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-GET-...-4-WORKING on top of the v17.8.8 (as per instructions) and it works fine, activated and all.
