He is using a "Top 5 Products" review site. I have been making very good money for a long time using these types of sites.
The websites I create are nothing fancy; the reviews are basically a brief summary of the affiliate product main page - written in press release format.
I use these sites to promote high paying affiliate products from amazon or other affiliate programs.
He includes a sample of his simple hosting review site in the pdf. As stated before, nothing fancy. The more crap you add to your review site - the less believable it becomes.
