I will max rep you for this information, hsm2393, however it's always a good idea to test stuff before you post. Just so you know, I shared information in a booklet I wrote last year that has very similar sites (including bitdownload ) in a thread here:

There is very important information people need to know when dealing with these types of sites (Iranian/Persian) and they should know that they're downloading illegal copies of software that, if detected and they live in the U.S. (maybe even in other parts of the world) they could very well be sued due to strong copyright protections.

So, while this is great information to share, it's always a good idea to provide some background or at the very least, test some of the software you download for viruses.

Open directories are great and that is the subject of the little booklet I posted in that thread. So, again, thank you.
