Looks like free version of Mautic only lets you send 1000 emails a day, then it gets expensive as hell!
https://mautic.com/products/pricing/
Plus it looks a lot more complicated than using a commercial AR company.

You install Mautic on your own hosting and it's unlimited and free.

Do you need Amazon ses or similiar email transactional service in order to send emails via mailzingo?
Regarding mautic, is their product difference in mautic.org vs mautic.com?

I recommend Mailit from Brett Rutecky. Install on your Wordpress site. Add your email account info from your hosting, and that's it. Working perfect. I have it and i am veryglad to have it

mautic.org is the free self-hosted version, mautic.com is the paid hosted version. Similar to WordPress.org and WordPress.com.

Is it on BBHF?
It's everywhere. It's open source. And it's completely free. And it's far more superior then this overhyped crap they're trying to sell you with limited options for idk 300 ish?
Mautic!
There you go. Don't waste your time on this unsafe, unreliable pos.
Thank you so much. Was not even aware something like this existed!
the freesoftware looks great. and it is giving me ideas for other freeware programs to find. Thank you again

I got hyped over MailZingo and bought it.
Guess what? All their two emails (except two others sent via GetResponse and JVZoo) ended up at my spam folder. What does that say? You may send emails free with this plugin but they fail to get to your target audience.
The other thing is their non-refund policy (or allowance for refund as long as you've done due diligence of using and testing the product and documenting your experience to prove it's not working.
Great!!!
